The Zyminex IPTV Line-Up, Group by Group, as the Guide Shows It

A channel list tells you whether something is carried. It cannot tell you what is on at 8 pm, which is the question you will be asking most evenings. That is the guide’s job, and the guide is built out of the groups on this page.

Your player groups the 25,000+ channels much as this page does: by country, and for the biggest countries by kind of channel as well. What is printed here is a sample of each group, sorted A to Z. The same group in the player runs far longer, often under a slightly different name. Type a name below to check it is carried, then read on for how to turn all of it into a guide short enough to use.

From Group to Grid

Groups become useful once the listings land on top of them. The listings arrive as XMLTV, a schedule file your player downloads from the same server as the channels, and it fills each row with titles, start times and a line of description. In a grid guide, TiViMate’s being the familiar example, channels run down the side, the evening runs across the top, and picking a group narrows the grid to it: the British group against tonight’s hours, say, or the US sport group to see which game starts at 7 and which at 10.

With the Xtream Codes login none of this needs setting up, because the player finds the listings by itself. A bare M3U link is different: some players then want the guide address typed in separately. It is the same server, ending in xmltv.php, with your username and password attached, and support will send it over WhatsApp if your player asks.

The first download over a line-up this size takes a few minutes. After that the player refreshes the listings on a timer. If yours lets you set the interval, twice a day is plenty; the TiViMate walkthrough shows where that setting lives.

What “No information” on a Channel Means

Sooner or later a row in the guide reads “No information” where a program title should be. The channel itself is rarely the problem. Work through the causes in this order:

1. The listings have not finished loading. Straight after a new login, give the guide five minutes before deciding something is wrong.
2. The listings are stale. Use the player’s option to update the guide now, then close and reopen the app. When the whole grid is blank rather than a single row, this is nearly always the fix.
3. The device was set up with an M3U link and no guide address. Sign that device in with the Xtream Codes login instead, or hand the player the xmltv.php address.
4. That channel has no schedule. A few feeds are carried without listings; event channels that only come alive for a fixture are the usual case. The picture plays as normal. The guide simply has nothing to say about it.

Listings that are present but an hour early or late are a different fault, a time zone setting rather than missing data, and the sport page walks through the fix. And if a channel you watch every night shows “No information” every night, send its name to support on WhatsApp. One named channel is far quicker to look into than a general report that the guide is broken.

A Shortlist of Thirty, Built Once

A line-up of 25,000+ channels is a warehouse, not a schedule. What makes the guide readable at the end of a long day is a shortlist, and thirty or forty channels is a sensible size to aim for: everything you would turn to on a weeknight, plus the channels for weekend sport. Building it takes about ten minutes, once.

1. Hide whole countries first. If nobody in the house watches Turkish or Arabic television, hide those groups and a large block of rows goes with them. TiViMate asks which groups to load the first time you add the login and lets you change your mind later. Hidden groups are not deleted; bringing one back takes seconds.
2. Mark favorites as you go. In most players, holding the select button on a highlighted channel brings up the option to add it. Start with what you would watch tonight and add the weekend channels afterwards.
3. Open on favorites. Where the player allows it, make favorites the group it starts on, so the guide you see at 8 pm is your list rather than the whole line-up.
4. Leave the rest to search. The channel you want twice a year does not need a place on the list. Four letters in the search box will find it.

On MAG and Formuler boxes the same work happens inside the portal, with favorites and the guide on the colored buttons of the remote; the MAG and Formuler walkthrough shows which is which. Favorites are normally kept by the player on the device itself, so a second television starts with the full line-up again. That costs another ten minutes; it is not a fault.

Nights When Nothing Live Appeals

Apart from the live groups sits the on-demand library: 120,000+ films and series with no start time, filed by genre and year in the player’s movie and series sections. It is there for the evening when the guide is all repeats. It will not stand in for every streaming service, and nobody should buy it expecting that.
