Knowing that a league is carried is the easy part. The harder part, on a Sunday with games in three windows, is knowing which of 25,000+ channels has yours, what time it starts on your clock, and whether you can still start it from the beginning once the first quarter has gone. That is a guide question as much as a sports one, and the guide is where this page spends its time.
The table comes first: each competition in the line-up, the countries its feeds come from, the channels to search for, and whether a 4K copy is on offer regularly or only now and then. Below it are the four habits that save the most time: finding the fixture, reading the time, catching up, and setting the season up once so you are not hunting for channels every weekend.
Rights move between broadcasters from one season to the next, so when this table and tonight’s listings disagree, believe the listings. Table reviewed September 5, 2026.
Finding the Fixture Before It Starts
- Search for the broadcaster, not the league. Most players search by channel name, and not all of them can search program titles, so “Champions League” can come back empty while “TNT Sports” finds the channel at once. The table above gives you the names to type.
- Open the guide on that channel and read forward. A sports slot often opens with the build-up, so the listing can begin half an hour or more before the first whistle. The description line, when there is one, often says when play starts.
- Check the other channels in the same row. One game can be listed on several channels in the line-up, from different countries and with different commentary. Pick the listing whose commentary you want to hear.
- Add it to favorites the night before. At kick-off the match is then a couple of presses away rather than a search.
Kick-Off in Your Own Time Zone
Leagues publish start times on their own clock. A Premier League 3 pm start means 3 pm in London; an NFL late-window game starts at 4:05 or 4:25 pm Eastern. The guide works differently. It takes the times in the schedule data and shows them in whatever time zone the device is set to, so a viewer in Chicago sees that London 3 pm listed at 9 am, and a viewer in Sydney finds the Sunday night game on Monday, somewhere between late morning and lunchtime depending on the month.
When every listing is out by exactly an hour, suspect the device before the guide. Check that the TV box, stick or television has the right time zone and that daylight saving is being applied, which usually means switching automatic date and time on. Only once the device is right should you touch the player’s own guide offset, if it has one. Adjusting both is how people end up two hours out.
A listing that is out by some odd amount, twenty minutes say, is a different matter: the broadcaster’s schedule has slipped, and schedule data rarely catches that. Tune in early on those nights.
Missed It? Catch-Up, Where the Channel Keeps an Archive
Some channels keep an archive of what they have already shown, and the player marks them with a small archive or clock icon. On those channels the guide lets you scroll back into earlier slots and play a program from its start. If the game was on one of them, a late shift does not cost you the match: by 10 pm the 7 pm game is waiting in the guide, first minute included.
Three cautions before you rely on it. Only channels with the icon can do this, and the icon is the only sign worth trusting; a pay-per-view or event channel may keep no archive at all. Archives reach back a limited time, which varies from channel to channel, so do not save a game for next weekend. And catch-up is most dependable with the Xtream Codes login: a player set up from a bare M3U link often cannot see the archive, which is the usual reason the icon never appears.
One habit protects the score. Start the game from its slot in the guide rather than tuning to the channel first, because the live channel will show you the result before you have had a chance to look away.
Setting Up the Season Once
The start of a season is the time to spend ten minutes on favorites, so that every weekend after it takes seconds.
- Take the channels from your competition’s row in the table and add them all. Removing one later is quicker than hunting for it on a Saturday.
- Where a channel comes in both 4K and HD, add both and keep them next to each other. If the 4K copy stumbles, the HD copy is one step away.
- If your player supports custom groups, give each competition its own, an NFL group and a Premier League group, so every weekend starts from a short list.
- When the season ends, prune. A favorites list still led by last season’s channels is how the guide gets slow to read again.

Which channels show the NFL?
Every broadcaster carrying NFL games is in the line-up: CBS, ESPN, FOX, NBC, NFL Network, NFL RedZone and the Prime Video games, through the regular season and the playoffs. Put all seven in a favorites group before week one, and a Sunday in the guide becomes a short list to read instead of a search.
How do I find a Premier League match in the guide?
Search for the broadcaster rather than the competition: Sky Sports or TNT Sports for the British feeds, NBC Sports, USA Network or Peacock for the American ones, Optus Sport for the Australian. The same match is often listed on more than one of them with different commentary, so choose the listing you would rather hear.
Can I watch a game I missed?
Yes, when the channel that showed it keeps an archive. Look for the archive or clock icon, scroll back to the slot in the guide and start it from the beginning. Why is the kick-off time in my guide an hour out?
Almost always because of the device clock, not the listings. Set the correct time zone on the TV, stick or box and switch automatic time on so daylight saving applies, then reopen the player. Only if the times are still wrong should you use the player’s own guide offset, and never both at once.
Are UFC and boxing pay-per-view nights included?
Yes, at no extra charge. They come through the event channels named in the table: DAZN, ESPN PPV, TNT Sports Box Office and Sky Sports Box Office. Check the guide on the day for the event channel’s schedule, and expect the broadcast to open with the undercard well before the main event.
Which player is best for following a season?
